Chicago Chapter Meeting Announcement

The National Federation of the Blind of Illinois chicago "Chapter will meet
on Saturday, December 8 at the Exchequer Pub and Restaurant 226 South
Wabash, Chicago, IL.

Please note that the start time for this meeting will be 12:00 noon rather
than the customary start time of 1:00 P.M.  Our meeting will be followed by
the annual Christmas auction, an event that evokes much excitement every
year.  

Besides helping all of your friends in the Chicago Chapter with your
purchases as well as with donated items for purchase, you will have an
opportunity to fraternize and engage in some Chicago Chapter holiday
"spirits" following the meeting.

If you plan to donate auction items, please be sure that the item is in good
working order.  Additionally, if you wish to donate any baked goods for the
auction, they generally provoke a lot of spirited bidding.  So, take
advantage of this opportunity to satisfy your personal desires and Christmas
shopping needs.

Finally, , don't forget Games Night.  Tickets for Games night are $25 each.
All participants will enjoy unlimited pizza, sallad and soda, done the way
only the experts of Exchequer can do it.  Tickets may be purchased at the
December meeting.  The date for this event will be Saturday, January 12,
2013, and it will occur immediately after the January chapter meeting.

Historically, this meeting has been one that many chapter members look
forward to.  So come on and join the party.  A good time will be had by all.
