The National Federation of the Blind of Illinois will hold its September,
2012 meeting at the Exchequer Pub and Restaurant, 226 South Wabash, Chicago
on Saturday, September 8.

The day will begin with our Fall membership tea at 11:30 A.M, with the
regular business meeting scheduled at 1:00 P.M.

Our program will consist of a discussion of a cornerstone in NFB philosophy.
We will listen to and discuss A Definition of Blindness, an address
delivered by one of our former presidents, Dr. Kenneth Jernigan.

Did you wish to learn about our experience picketing Good Will in des
Plaines on the day of the state board meeting? I have no doubt that this
will be covered in the state presidential report.

Finally, do you plan to register for the 2012 state convention in Chicago?
If so, you will have the chance to pick up a registration form, as well as a
door prize appeal letter. NFBI convention are always educational,
informative and fun. This convention promises to be one of our best. You
won't want to miss it.

If you have any questions, please contact David Meyer, Chicago Chapter
President at 708-209-1767 or email him at datemeyer at sbcglobal.net.

Hope to see you all there.
