[il-talk] sad news

[Glenn Moore III]

I have just been checking Il Talk, after being sick and out of the loop for a few week. I found out this sad turn of events for Connie from a friend. We have had more than too many friends taken from us in recent recollection, but this to me, is a real and unwelcome surprise, and I think of things I would like to have said, but never will get to tell her. I will always miss Connie and hope her memory will continue to live in our consciousness here in the NFB, and everywhere she has left a warm impression for as long as we ourselves live.

I am very sad to report that we lost my dear friend Connie Davis last night.  She passed away peacefully with her sister-in-law with her at Northwestern Hospital.  She made such a difference in my life and I will miss her terribly.  She will always be with us because her memory will live in our hearts.  I am glad that I had the opportunity to see her while I was in Chicago over New Years and she was glad to see me as well.  Rest in peace, beloved friend.  Loving you nad having you as my friend was the best and one of the easiest things I have ever done in my life.  You will be loved and remembered always.
