Thanks to the generosity of the National Federation of the Blind of
Illinois, we have another NewsLine contest this year.  Who is eligible for
this contest?  All active members of the National Federation of the Blind of
Illinois.  What is the contest?  The sole aim of this contest is to find
more subscribers for NewsLine.  When is the contest?  The contest will begin
today, January 19, and extend through June 30, the day before the start of
the NFB National convention in Orlando Florida.  Where does this contest
take place?  Throughout the state of Illinois.  Why is this contest taking
place?  There are all kinds of answers for this question.  With
approximately 500,000 legally blind individuals in Illinois and with
approximately 900 NewsLine subscribers, there are499,000 reasons to run this
contest.

How can one win this contest?  Simply forward as many interested NewsLine
prospects to David Meyer between now and June 30 as you can.  The person
credited with signing up the most NewsLine subscribers will win $50
complements of the National Federation of the Blind of Illinois.

they may appear to be, if you are not already signed up for NewsLine and you
do so, you will have already signed up one subscriber, yourself.
