Amtrak apparently has suspended service on Saturday, August 17, for the
ongoing renovation of the track between Chicago and Saint Louis. We
therefore can use Peoria Charter Coach, Phone: (800) 488-0572,
www.peoriacharter.com. It charges $38 one-way and $76 round-trip and
operates from the Transit Center at the Amtrak station in Normal. The last
bus of the day leaves for Chicago at 7:00 PM. It arrives at O'Hare at 9:45
PM and continues to Midway.
Cordially,
Steve Hastalis
