Hi All,

Sorry for the spam.

Just wanted to poll the group for some advice:

As the job market has improved, I have realized that the only problem with my resume is the recent gap in my employment.  Even six months after my layoff, I would have had no problem finding a new position.  Now it's a different story.

Does anyone have a sense which of the programs the government offers have a good track record in placing people in their desired field?  I will ask for some training when I speak with my DRS counselor, but I don't know how these, for profit, companies work.  All I'm looking for is a certificate that says I'm current with Microsoft SQL Server 2012, specifically SSRIs.  Being certified in Python programming and Agile methodology would also get me a job.

NB I have had a few conversations with recruiters who think I'm basically indegent and would go through anything to get a position.  I don't want to make any deals with the Devil...

Thanks,
bcp
