20 teams from across the United States and Taiwan are competing for the
championship, "The most teams since 1986," states Stephen Guerra, Secretary
for the National Beep Baseball Association.

"Beep Baseball empowers individuals to learn about being part of a team, how
to build a team, becoming physically fit, increasing self-confidence and
competing against others across the United States and Taiwan annually, for
the honor of being champion," says Dan Greene, President of the NBBA.

Kevin Barrett, Director of Public Relations for the NBBA states, "Beep
baseball has been played competitively since 1976 and we are excited about
two games of this week long tournament being aired for those who could not
participate and for those who just love listening to live competition.

Scott Ressmeyer, the President of the Board of Directors for the Columbus
Sports Council, and a driving force behind the Country's Midnight Express
has hosted one of the NBBA's Premier Teams and Ambassadors of Beep Ball for
the past ten years.
Scott states" The Columbus Sports Council was honored to be selected as the
host city for the 2013 National Beep Ball Association World Series. Players
will travel to our beautiful City and play their Championship Game at
Historic Golden Park, the same stadium that Olympians took home the Gold in
1996. The Championship game will be first time these amazing athletes will
play in a stadium on their quest to be crowned World Series Champions. Not
to mention this is the first time this great event has made its way to the
Southeastern United States. To sum it up, we are very excited as we look
forward to making memories and lifelong friendships."
