Hello Paul. My name is Lesley and I'm Pres. of the NFBI at large chapter. You might want to look in either Forestpark are Oakpark for housing. I know there's a bus that goes from the blue line stop in Forest Park to Hines. My husband and I lived in Forest Park for three years and the transportation was excellent. I'm not sure what's right around Hines. Another thought I have is you might want to get connected with other workers Speyer that are blind and see what they do for transportation. That's all the suggestions I have for now. If anything else comes to mind, I will write more. Welcome to Illinois.
