Hi Beddie! How about an article about how life has impacted me with my
husband having MS, and how I coped with that, after losing my sight?
Sincerely, Linda

Subject: [il-talk] Submissions for the Braille Examiner
Ever since we lost our faithful co-editor, Connie Davis, the Braille
Examiner has been in limbo. It's time to get our newsletter up and running
again. The next issue will come out before national convention, and I
invite you to submit articles for publication. Here are a few ideas to get
you thinking:
An experience that helped you overcome your fears or self doubts
An instance where you dealt effectively with negative attitudes you
encountered
Tips and tricks about technology
Tips and tricks about doing things around the house, in the yard, etc.
Reflections on a convention presentation or a piece of NFB literature - how
it resonates with your own life Experiences of "coming out" as a blind
person
Anything else that expresses NFB philosophy and conveys a positive attitude
about blindness
If you would like to talk over an article idea, please call or contact me by
email. We need to receive submissions by May 31. Everyone has ideas and
stories to share, so don't be shy!
