This is your friendly reminder that it is time for the meeting of the quarterly Guide Dog group at Blind Service Association. We will be meeting Tuesday, November 12, from 5:30 to 7pm. Everyone is welcome regardless of what school your dog is from, or if you’re just in the considering a dog guide stage..smile.
This month’s meeting is so close to the holidays; makes me think of the saying, “out with the old & in with the new”. Let’s talk about how that relates to our guide dogs.

Here are a few points we’ll talk about:

Preparing for the ‘eventual’ retirement of your guide dog

Recognizing when your dog’s work starts to lose some of its normal sharpness

Bringing home your new guide and anything else that might be on your mind
