Bruce:

I am going through something similar myself.

What were you doing job wise before you had your health issues? If you have 
lots of experience in that field, it would behoov you to go back into that 
relm of job. You also might have to do what I am currently doing. That is 
take a job readiness class. I don't know if the Chicago Lighthouse offers 
anything like that.

Also, make sure your resume and refferances are up to date.

Hi All,

I find myself in a difficult situation.  Due to the after effect of my last 
set of surgeries, I had to take some time off from work.  At this point, I 
feel ready to join the work force again, but can't find any reasources or 
employers able to offer me any opportunities.  I had hoped at least one of 
you knew of someone who had gone through a similar situation, or could just 
offer some advice?

I do appreciate any help.
