[il-talk] Great Convention And Thank You

Hello federation family,
We just concluded a great convention in Bloomington Illinois. There are some people I just wanted to say thanks to for making it all happen. Of course, I want to thank our State President for her ability to organize and lead the convention. All of the speakers were great.  Thanks to Francisco Chang for the many Many ways you support Patti and the rest of us.
I wanted to say thanks to Ron Brown, the State President of Indiana and his wife Jean for being national reps to our convention.

Thanks to those people who helped with the door prizes. Nancy Gardner you are great. I appreciate your running around to all of the rooms, checking to make sure they are set up the way we want. And of course, i appreciate your help at the door prize table. I also want to thank Pam Gilmore for helping me with Brailling door prizes this year. Thank you Glenn Moore for getting me the registration list so I could Braille the names in advance. You made that part of my life easy. Finally, to the chapters and individuals who donated door prizes. Ferris Wheel, Four Rivers, Black Hawk, Chicago, Illinois Association Of Blind Merchants and Illinois Association Of Blind Students, thanks so much for your prizes. Thank you also goes to Dave and Teresa Meyer, Pam Gilmore, and Courtney Hummel and many many more for all of the prizes.
I also wanted to thank the public relations committee for getting out the word about the convention. Robert Hansen, I thank you for your willingness to use your platform to get out the word. And thank you for your door prizes. 
Thank you so much Debbie Stein for building all of those lists of parents, kids, and teachers  so we can get them to convention.
Thank you also goes to Steve Hastalis for handling the shuttle to and from the hotel, and helping with the sound. Byron, you are so funny and absolutely wonderful in the way you handle our streaming and sound.
Cathy Randall, all of NFBI thanks you for bringing in all of that money to put on all of these various programs.
In short, we have a wonderful affiliate.
