[il-talk] Grabbing Cane Tops On The Bus

Absolutely common in my experience, though I haven't found the experience to
be really any different in Chicago than in other cities where I've traveled
blind. I'm guessing you use a rigid cane, thus can't fold the thing to make
it ungrabbable. That said, if you can get a window seat, you can prop the
cane between your shoulder and the window, where no one is likely to grab
it. Otherwise, I don't think there's much to be done done except try not to
lose your temper (as I have done on occasion) when some fool grabs your cane
top.

I've had constant problems with this lately in the Chicago area. Is this
common? I've tried to respectly deal with this, but it is getting
frusturating. Any tips? Thanks for the help.
