Hello Chicago Chapter Members,

I wish to thank all of you who contributed in some way to make our Sox
fundraiser a real success. With a total of 106 tickets sold, it is probably
the best baseball fundraiser we have had in more than a decade. I know it
was the first time we sold mnore than 100 tickets to a sports event since
2003.

This fundraiser has become more substantial during each of the past three to
four years. Let's keep the momentum going for next year.

As I see it, there were two reasons why this event was as successful as it
was this year. First of all, we had more people engage in fundraising with
this project than we have had in several years. Secondly, more people sold
a lot of tickets this time. There were four individuals in the chapter who
sold at least ten tickets for this event. Though this may have happened in
previous fundraisers, I can't remember the last time this was done.

A great job was done overall. With this in mind, I think it would be
realistic to set a goal of 125 tickets for next year. There is, however, no
need to stop there.

We are gaining some momentum. Let's keep it going in the months and years
to come.
