I’ve been asked to forward info on the “Thought Provoker” series of stories, those raising conversation-starting questions about blindness.  These are wonderful starting points for programs within a chapter meeting or any other meeting where people want to discuss the many aspects of blindness, both as seen by the blind and the sighted.  And of course, as an individual, these little stories can get your brain working in a positive way as you deal with your blindness and the world around you.  

This series of stories have been written by Robert Leslie Newman, a prominent member of the NFB, both nationally and in his home state of Nebraska.  Among the offices he holds is president of the NFB Writers’ Division.
