Thanks for the Info, but I can't afford an I Phone!  And I heard the hand 
held ones are expensive.  So, I guess for noe, I have to see about more 
Mobility training with my trusty White Cane!    Sincerely, Linda

If you already have an iPhone, the simplest and most economical
approach would be installing various apps for the needs described, as
David Andrews mentioned.  iPhone end users can easily ask SIRI "Where
am I" and receive the street address where they are located.
