DAWWN, Access Living, and the other centers for independent living
support the repeal of 14C but also support Section 511. I have
approached Equip for Equality and they are setting up a meeting to
discuss the issue with the disability community. I have reached out to
Anil to participate by telephone conference at this meeting. the
organization is aware that parts of the disability rights movement
oppose 511 while others support it. Leadership there is working to
sort out their position. Nationally, their trade association supports
511.
