The National Federation of the Blind of Illinois Chicago Chapter will meet
at the Exchequer Pub and Restaurant, 226 South Wabash in Chicago on
Saturday, May 10 beginning at 1:00 P.M.

 

If you are considering going to the National convention, you will not want
to miss this meeting.  Our program will be a presentation on what one can
typically find at the NFB National convention.  Also, elections for 2014
will be held during this meeting.  All officers and board members will be up
for election.

 

Then there is our summer fundraiser on August 2.  The White Sox will take on
the Minnesota Twins at US Cellular Field,beginning at 6:00 P.M.   In
addition to the game, there will be a fireworks show immediately afterword.
Ticket orders must be in no later than the day of the chapter meeting.
Finally, you will have a chance to find out what is going on nationally, as
well as in the state of Illinois via presidential reports.

 

This promises to be a meeting with much information and content for all of
