[il-talk] First Cab ride!

Paratransit is a government provided service of public transit
companies. Paratransit vehicles only go near transit bus routes. Uber
is a private company that can go anywhere, including areas not served
by public transit buses. The government does not subsidize Uber’s
rides and Uber charges market-based prices for them. One does not need
to schedule Uber rides a day in advance though. Rides can be ordered
at any time and drivers from the community often arrive in minutes.
