Spectrios Institute for Low Vision, in conjunction with the Illinois 
Department of Rehabilitation Service (DHS), are delighted to announce their 
2014-2015 series of workshops to be held at Spectrios Institute.

This is an outstanding series of FREE workshops which are designed to help 
with employment, prepare you for college and transition, and keep you up to 
date on the latest technology.

Please call Spectrios Institute at 630-690-7115 ext. 122, to register for 
the workshop(s) you would like to attend. Remember space is limited so call 
early to reserve a seat.

Thursday, December 4, 2014, 12:30 pm - 4:00 pm - Economic Accessibility 
adjustments and software - What is Out There? Windows 8, the Apple operating 
system, Zoomtext Express and NVDA (Non-visual Display Access)

Thursday, March 12, 2015, 12:30 - 4:00 pm - SSI and SSDI - What is it? Why 
do I need to know about it? How does it work? How will it impact my ability 
to work? Come meet experts in this field.

Thursday, March 26, 2015, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm - Reasonable Accommodation: 
Just what does it mean? What can I expect from an employer? When do I bring 
up my needs to an employer?

Century! Getting the job, Networking and job searching, the interview 
process / preparation, and disability disclosure. This session will also 
include and visit to our technology department, (If you have an iPad, please 
bring it with).
