The National Federation of the Blind of Illinois Chicago Chapter will hold
its February meeting on Saturday, February 14 at the Exchequer Pub and
Restaurant, 226 South Wabash Avenue, Chicago.  The meeting will begin at
1:00 P.M.

 

Our program for this month will be an article taken from the January issue
of the Braille Monitor, Putting Names and Faces to Fight of the Blind.

 

Also, don't forget our soon-to-be-happening fundraiser at Dicks Last Resort.
The address for Dicks Last Resort is 313 North Dearborn, Chicago.  The date
is March 5, the time, 6:00-8:00 P>M and the cost for this event is $50 per
person.  If you like beer, wine, soda and food of all kinds, you won't want
to miss this one.  You may pay on line by going to www.nfbofillinois.org and
clicking on the link, A Night of the Ages at Dicks Last Resort, or you may
pay by check.  If you wish to pay by check, you must make checks payable to
NFBI and either give them to David Meyer during the meeting, or send them to
Patti Chang, 6919 West Berwyn Avenue, Chicago IL  60656.  All payments must
be received by February 27.
