Laura Martinez, the blind chef who spoke at our state convention a couple of 
years ago, is opening a restaurant called La Diosa at 2308 N. Clark Street. 
The grand opening will be on Friday, January 9, from 11 to 3.  Please visit 
La Diosa on Friday, or any day in the weeks ahead, to support Laura in this 
challenging venture.
