Happy Saint Patrick’s Day! I hope you will bless us with a pot of gold by
attending our meeting! On Saturday, March 14th, we will hold our meeting at
1:30 PM. I hope to see you there.



THIS MONTH’S MEETING
Our meeting will be held on Saturday, March 14th, at 1:30 p.m., at the
South Moline Township Center located at 637 17th Avenue in East Moline.
We will have a program talking about Newsline and its many features. We
will also touch base on Talking Books.

LAST MONTH IN REVIEW
In February, we had Vicki Hagen from H&R Block

We continue to seek youth for Stepping Out, a local program for junior and
senior high students.

PEOPLE REPORT
Jay and Leah were both sick.
Patrick Olson attended Toastmasters Leadership Institute

We are having a 50/50 raffle. Tickets are $1 per ticket or $5 for 6 tickets.

RECIPE CORNER

Baked Honey Mustard Chicken
Provided on allrecipes.com
6 servings

Ingredients:
6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup prepared mustard
1 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Sprinkle chicken breasts with salt and pepper to taste, and place in a
lightly greased 9x13 inch baking dish. In a small bowl, combine the honey,
mustard, basil, paprika, and parsley. Mix well.
Pour half of this mixture over the chicken and brush to cover.
3. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Turn chicken pieces over and
brush with the remaining 1/2 of the honey mustard mixture. Bake for an
additional 10 to 15 minutes, or until chicken is no longer pink and juices
run clear. Let cool 10 minutes before serving.
