[il-talk] Kayla update

Hi everyone. I just wanted to give you all a quick update on how Kayla is
doing.I heard from her this morning and she said that things are going
great so far atizre. She said she is learning how to make pancakes and
grilled cheese so far. She is learning how to sew on buttons. And she's
also working on spreading butter and peanut butter and bread.in mobility,
she's working on street crossings and she said that she went to the
lighthouse by herself the other day. And she said it was a bit scary, but
she felt so good that she did it all by herself.she said the rehab
counselor there is working with her onfiguring out where she would like to
go to college.and by the way, she sounds great.she said it was okay for me
to post an update to Iltalkand I will post more updates as she gives them
to me. Let us all continue to support her and her progress. I like to think
of her is on a quest toward independence.and she will get there.
