The NfB has impacted me also, by helping me gaining more confidence and
trying to be positive about life and the future! Also, meeting many Blind
people, I consider my friends, who have been where I am now, and are there
for me, if I stumble! Sincerely, Linda

Subject: [il-talk] How has the NFB impacted you
I see an interesting string of tweets going out. People are asking how is
the Federation impacted your life. I'm not sure where to start but I thought
I would ask the question here.
For me I've gained independence and positive attitudes not to mention a
couple of scholarships along the way. But one of the biggest things I have
gained is people in my life who I care very much about.
"The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future."
