Subject: [il-talk] chicago chapter meeting announcement

The National Federation of the Blind of Illinois Chicago Chapter will hold
its monthly meeting on Saturday March 21 at the Exchequer Pub and
Restaurant, 226 South Wabash, Chicago.  The day will begin with a membership
committee meeting at 12:00 noon with the regular business meeting beginning
at 1:00 P.M.



Are you thinking of attending the National convention this year?  Our
program will feature various Chicago chapter members talking about various
aspects of the convention.  As Illinois is one of the host affiliates this
year, we really need a great turnout in Orlando, not only to help with the
convention itself, but to make our presence known.  Let's crack the top 10
in attendance this year!



Please remember that we will not have a meeting in April, due to the Spring
Seminar which is scheduled that month.  The next meeting will occur on May
9, where among other things, we will hold our elections for the coming year.
If you wish to vote in that election and you have not yet paid your dues,
please do so at the March meeting.



Finally, our Beggars Pizza fundraiser will occur on Wednesday, April 22.  As
the North side Beggars Pizza has closed, we will be using two locations.
They are the downtown location at 310 South Clinton avenue, and a South side
location close to Midway airport.  There will be flyers for this event at
the meeting.
