> I have been most grateful and fortunate to work with all the wonderful people associated with the Hadley School—co-workers, students and Trustees. Additionally, the Woman’s Board, the Winnetka Community and our many colleagues associated with Hadley School worldwide have resulted in many new lifelong friendships. However, after nearly 10 years, it is time to begin a transition to new leadership to advance “Hadley of the Future” while facilitating student competence and confidence. Therefore, per the Hadley Succession Plan, I have offered the Trustees a one-year notification of my pending retirement, so there will be an orderly, well planned and executed transition of the president. I look forward to working with Hadley Trustees in the formation of a Search Committee to guide the process. I also look forward to continued work with each of you, as we transition to new leadership at this incredible “International Treasure,” The Hadley School for the Blind.
