[il-talk] Read-a-Thon Reminder

Tomorrow, November 14, the Chicago Chapter will host its annual Read-a-Thon
fundraiser. Invite your friends and relatives, neighbors and coworkers to
donate pledges for you to read a given number of pages. Then bring your
pledges to the Exchequer Pub and Restaurant at 226 S. Wabash.  If you're
unable to gather pledges, pay $10 at the door as your pledge to yourself.
Bring those books and magazines you've been wanting to read for months,
settle down at a table or booth, and read. 

 

Over the past several years, the Read-a-Thon has been one of the Chicago
Chapter's most successful fundraisers. All are welcome, Braille readers and
print readers alike. Just try to keep your voice down - people are reading!
