SUBJECT   :    Network-produced audio magazines to circulate on cartridge

 

 

Eleven network-produced audio magazines previously available only for download via the Braille and Audio Reading Download (BARD) have been added to the Magazine on Cartridge (MOC) program for patrons who wish to subscribe. 

 

These network-produced magazines meet NLS quality standards and will enrich the MOC program by giving patrons more local- and national-interest reading options.

 

The magazine titles, their frequency, and their NLS publication codes are:

 

·       Audubon (bimonthly, AUD4)

 

·       Cowboys and Indians (monthly, OCI4)

 

·       Humpty Dumpty (bimonthly, HDM4)

 

·       Missouri Conservationist (monthly, MOC4)

 

·       National Geographic Traveler (monthly, NGT4)

 

·       Oklahoma Today (bimonthly, OKT3)

 

·       Playboy (monthly, PBY4)

 

·       Seventeen (monthly, SVT4)

 

·       Smithsonian (monthly, SMT4)

 

·       Southern Living (monthly, SOL4)

 

·       Vital Speeches of the Day (monthly, VSD4)

 

Patrons will be told about the availability of these titles in an upcoming issue of Talking Book Topics.
