On Saturday, July 23, the Chicago Chapter of the NFBI will hold its annual
picnic at the Lincoln Park Zoo’s Landmark Café. Federationists and friends
will gather between noon and three PM for food and fellowship. You may
purchase food at the café or bring your own picnic.

Below I am pasting information on transportation to the zoo, supplied by
Steve Hastalis. Those wishing to use Uber or Paratransit can give the
address 2200 N. Cannon Drive.

>From Steve: Route 151 Sheridan serves the zoo. Buses stop on Stockton, both
northbound and southbound at Webster. The Zoo is east of Stockton Drive.

Leaving Union Station, buses stop eastbound on Jackson at Riverside Plaza,
just west of the Chicago River.

Leaving LaSalle Street Station, buses stop eastbound on Jackson at Financial
Place.

Leaving Millennium Station, buses stop on Michigan between Randolph and Lake
Streets.

Note: The City of Chicago will hold its annual Disability Pride Parade
after 11 o'clock. This parade will go north on Dearborn It likely will
cause short term bus reroutes and service disruptions for less than an hour.
In that event, board the Brown Line train from any Loop Elevated station,
ride north to Armitage, ride the 73 Armitage bus east to Clark. Cross
Clark, walk two blocks north to Webster, go east on Webster across Lincoln
Park West, continue east to Stockton, cross Stockton and enter the Zoo.

If you have further questions, please call Steve Hastalis, 773 848-5307, or
Jemal Powell, 708 557-7979.

Come! Have some good fellowship! Meet old friends, and make new ones!

Cordially,

Steve Hastalis
