Thanks Kathy. Yes, I'm aware of the sell-outs. I finally got a living
breathing person on the phone at the theater to ask about the
audiodescription. The answer was to buy the tickets and then they will see
about getting the AD for the performance in question.  So there it is I
guess.  Sheesh, honestly I am not a theater buff but I cannot for the life
of me understand how this many people can get this hysterically excited
about going to see a musical.  Guess I'm just a fuddy-duddy!

Hi Andrew,
  I was just in Chicago for a meeting earlier this week and Hamilton is
already sold out for the first six months of the Chicago run.  Apparently,
you have to go to the theatre to buy tickets and who knows when they will
have tickets available for future sales.

Thanks Sharon. Yes it is, and I have tried that number several times and
gotten nothing more than the answering machine. I'll keep trying of course,
but this was why I was wondering if anybody knew anything specifically re AD
for Hamilton.

Andrew, if this is a Broadway in Chicago performance, there is an option on
their phone system for accessibility questions. That was the only way I got
an actual person for a previous performance. Good luck.

Just wondering if anyone on the list knows whether performance dates with
audiodescription have been announced for the Chicago run of Hamilton? I'm
sure some members of our community have investigated this already, and since
I'm having trouble getting hold of a live person at the theater, I just
