To Leslie and anyone else who may have had issues with Paratransit; the most important thing you need to do is to take down the time and date of the incident, then report the incident to PACE customer relations so that it will be documented into their system; There are 2 ways to contact PACE customer relations; first, you can call them from 8AM to 5M Monday thru Friday at area code 847-364-7223. Or, you can email them anytime at passenger.services at pacebus.com

Hi all. Just wanted to give everyone an update. My job is going well so far. Paratransit however, seems to go in spurts. They do well for a while and then, there's glitches. One time, I was tuna half hours late to work because of them. Listen to what they did today when they were supposed to pick me up from the palatine train station and take me home. To make a long story short, they never showed up, no call, no nothing. I waited till almost 6 o'clock and then I finally called. You know what their excuse was? There excuse was that they had a new driver and the driver totally forgot to pick me up. And then, they told me I would've had to wait an hour and a half to two hours for them to get a bus to me. There was no way I was going to wait a minute longer. So I called Andy and he and Michael came and got me. I didn't have to wait that long for them. Of course, if they were not available I would've taken Uber but frankly, I didn't want to spend that kind of money tonight either. How many of you had this kind of experience what did you do to get it resolved? I will definitely be bringing this incident to supervisors attention tomorrow.
