[il-talk] Chicago Chapter Read-a-Thon

On Saturday, October 8, the Chicago Chapter will host its annual Read-a-Thon
fundraiser at the Exchequer Pub and Restaurant, 226 S. Wabash, Chicago.
Instead of holding an October business meeting, we invite you and your
friends and family to gather at Exchequer at 1 pm for a couple of hours of
quiet reading together. Please solicit pledges from your friends, neighbors,
and colleagues. All who come to read must make a donation of $10 at the
door, but if you bring donations in the form of checks or cash, your entry
donation will be waived.

 

Bring something you would like to read, whether it's Braille, print, or an
electronic text on a Braille device or laptop. And audiobooks are okay if
reading is not an option. Come and readn and help us fund our chapter!
