Hello everyone,

We can all take pride that hb2626 has passed the house. We are not done yet,
however. The bill must pass the senate and be signed by the governor in
order to become law. What we need to do is to do our best to insure that
this bill will pass the Senate with a majority substantial enough that
Governor Rauner will not consider a vito.

The only way we can do this so far as I know is for everyone to contact
their respective senators and ask that they either cosponsor or otherwise
support hb2626 by voting in its favor. We have carried this process far
enough at this point that we need to see it through to the end.
