Good morning everyone. I purchased Nearby Explorer a little while ago and although I have heard people rave about it, I have been having difficulty using it. I have listened to The to podcasts I could find about it and have reviewed the user guide. The problem I've been having is that when I am walking around it beeps and seems to be trying to figure out where it is and is not accurately capturing where I am and the intersections I am approaching. I tested it out on a place I know how to get to to see how it would work and halfway there I just gave up. I am using an iPhone. I'm wondering if there is a certain way I have to point the phone to make it work best. Also, looking at the transit feeds, it does not seem to be aware of half of the buses I can catch at the bus stop near me. I have not figured out a way to plan a route the way I can with BlindSquare. It lets me choose between vehicle and pedestrian but I don't see how you can plan A route where you are combining walking with public transportation. Any thoughts?
