JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Directs and manages the Consumer Services/Vocational Rehabilitation (VR)
Division of South Carolina Commission for the Blind.  Interprets VR polices
and ensures procedures are developed and maintained consistently throughout
the state.  Attends legislative, public and advocacy group hearings such as
CAP; meets with citizens to discuss their concerns; represents the agency in
absence of the Commissioner.  Participates in the management decision-making
process of the agency and is held accountable for end results.

MINIMUM AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

A bachelor's degree and relevant program management experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Master's Degree in Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) 

Experience in VR 

Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC)
