THIS MONTH

Please join us, the NFBI Blackhawk Chapter, at our monthyly meeting on Saturday, April 13. The meeting is open to everyone, and starts at 1 PM. We meet at the Hope Creekk Care Center at 4343Kennedy Drive, East Moline, IL. 

 

This month we have an exciting program: Linda and Tony Gimble of Moline will discuss raising guide dogs, which they do on a regular basis. They will bring their current guide dog in training.

FUTURE EVENTS      

Our regular May meeting scheduled for Saturday, May the 11th will be replaced by our annual luncheon at Bennigan's Restaurant at the corner of 2nd Avenue and 17th Street in Rock Island. For reference this is in the Rock Island Holiday Inn Hotel. We have a reserved room, and it will open at 11:30 AM. 

 

For those who wish to participate, we will combine that event with a mobility exercise. We will catch the #10 West bus to Rock Island, leaving Center Station in Moline at 10:45 AM. We will get off the bus at the new Rock Island bus station on 19th Street, then walk through the Rock Island District area and on to the restaurant. If you are taking another bus to get to Center Station in Moline, you should time your arrival there to be able to catch the #10 West bus leaving for Rock Island at 10:45 AM.
