Dear Chicago Chapter members,

 

What a wild and productive auction we had today. I had a feeling we could
make $1,000. I never dreamed that we would actually make $2,820, thanks to
an additional donation beyond what the auction brought in.

 

I'm not sure where to start, other than to say thank you to everyone. Thank
you for working the auction table, thank you Ed and Geo for setting the tone
for a great time and finding a way so many times to get an extra $5, $10 or
$20 on so many items. Finally, thank you to those who purchased auction
items. If nobody would be willing to bid, an event like this would not be
possible.

 

I have been pushing pretty strong for good fundraising. This event went
beyond my wildest dreams.

 

So to those who purchased items, relax, make good use of your new items and
enjoy them with pride and pleasure.

 

To everyone, have a merry Christmas, happy Quanzza, happy Chanukah and let
us keep on keeping on next year, and the years to come.
