Hi all. I'm afraid of that and bad news. I recently injured my back and had an MRI done and found out I have a herniated disc in my lower back. I meet with the doctor on Friday to determine what my options are moving forward. He is a back specialist. Have any of you been through this kind of thing before? If you had to use a walker for support, how did you use it and your long white cane at the sametime? Right now it literally hurts to work I guy dog so I'm not going to be working her for a while. I've been in touch with the school in terms of a plan of attack for that. So far, the school has been very supportive. I'm hanging in there. There are times when I feel very matter-of-fact about this and times when I feel really down about it too. And there are also times that I feel angry that it happened. But no matter how I feel, the important thing is that I get better. And I think I will feel more settled once I meet with the doctor on Friday. So if anybody has any thoughts, please send them my way. Hope everyone is doing well.
Leslie
