Hi All,

I wanted to bring to your attention that yesterday the Chicago City
Council passed their 2020 Budget.  Within the Budget, there was a
provision to phase out over a 4 year period Section 14C in Chicago.
Access Living which is the local Independent Living Center issued a

This is great news because this is the third city in the nation who
passed somekind of city ordinance outlawing the practice.  In 2023
Section 14C will be phased out and Disabled Chicago Workers will earn
$15 which will be their minimum wage at that time!
