OUR MEETING FOR THIS MONTH

 

NOTE 2 IMPORTANT CHANGES FOR OUR MEETING IN APRIL: 

1.	WE MEET THIS COMING SATURDAY, THE FIRST SATURDAY OF THE MONTH,
RATHER THAN OUR USUAL SECOND SATURDAY OF THE MONTH. THIS IS A ONE-TIME
CHANGE, AND WE WILL GO BACK TO THE SECOND SATURDAY STARTING IN MAY. 

 

2.	WE WILL MEET BY CALLING IN TO THE NUMBER GIVEN BELOW AND MEET BY
TELECONFERENCE. AS YOU CAN GUESS, THIS IS BECAUSE OF THE COVID-19 VIRUS
SITUATION, AND THE LOCK-DOWN AT THE HOPE CREEK  CARE CENTER. 

 

Please join us, the NFBI Blackhawk Chapter, at our monthly meeting on
Saturday, April 4. The meeting is open to everyone, and starts at 1 PM. 

 

This month our program will begin by a relaxed, open exchange of information
from everyone on how they are doing under the restrictions created by the
Corona Virus. How are you handling the isolation of the stay-at-home
guidance given us by the state of Illinois? How are you handling the need
for groceries, medicine, etc. under these unusual times? How can we as an
NFB chapter, as part of a NFB family, help you? 

 

If time allows, we will continue with our 2020 theme of independence by
listening to parts of the famous speech by Dr. Jernigan entitled "The
Meaning of Independence." We will then discuss what we've just listened to.
This speech gets into many aspects of how the NFB philosophy views
independence.
