Subject: [IL-Talk] need more calls in Chicago and suburbs

Hello Everyone,

I am asking that those of you in Chicago and in the Greater Chicago area
please call the Board of Elections to let them know that the right to a
secret vote by mail ballot is something we hold near and dear, and that we
consider our right to vote by mail as important to us as it is to anyone
else.

If you are in Chicago Proper, please call Lance Goff, Chicago Board of
Elections at 312-269-7970.

If you are in the Greater Chicago area, (suburban Cook County), please call
Jonathan Williams at 312-603-0987.

We have a script that I can share with you if you wish to use it as a guide
for your phone call. It is important that we do these calls today and Monday
so that these boards get a sense of importance with which we regard the
right to vote by mail with complete independence and secrecy. Please contact
me off list if you wish to have a script.

With a lot of calls, we may get something done. If none of us call, we have
ourselves to blame.

David Meyer, NFB of Illinois

Coordinator and Channel Administrator, NFB-NewsLine

Chicago Chapter President
