Dear National Federation of the Blind Leaders:

 

We want to learn more about how we can improve NFB-NEWSLINE. To that end we have contracted with Deloitte to conduct focus groups and a survey.  You will be receiving the survey sometime next week. We are looking for people to participate in a 90-minute focus group. Participants will be a mixture of those who use NFB-NEWSLINE and those who do not. We want to be sure to include input from those who do not use the system in order to understand what might make them more likely to use NFB-NEWSLINE. Please promote this plan.

 

To be considered for one of the focus groups, please complete the attached Focus Group Pre-Work Form and email it to Lia at lparkerbelfer at deloitte.com. Please complete the attached form by Tuesday, June 2, 2020. If you have any questions about the focus groups or would like to complete the form over the telephone, please call Lia at 202-306-6822.

 

We anticipate that this information will be pivotal in planning future enhancements to NFB-NEWSLINE.

 

Also, keep in mind that if you are not able to participate in one of the focus groups you will still have an opportunity to participate in the survey.
