Hello Everyone:

 

Please note the following related to the Jefferson Park Bus Terminals.

 

EFFECTIVE MONDAY, NOVEMBER 9, 2020 THROUGH FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 13, 2020.

 

The Jefferson Park NORTH TERMINAL will be closing for concrete repairs  for
5 days (7 days if delayed by weather).

 

Monday, November 9, 2020 starting at 9:00 am. Work will continue Tuesday,
November 10th through Friday, November 13th. On Friday November 13th, after
concrete test results are confirmed, the North Terminal will be opened to
bus traffic at 3:00 pm.

 

Details:

*	The entrance drive will be closed for replacement of part of the
pavement, as well as some repair of some cracks in other parts of the
roadway and sidewalk.
*	CTA will revert to the plan for when the North Terminal was closed
during reconstruction last year. Buses will be relocated into the South
Terminal and some on Milwaukee Ave.
*	Temporary signage will be posted at the bus stop bays and
wayfinding/breadcrumb signage within the terminal.
*	To avoid excess bus crowding in the South Terminal, buses will be
unloading on Milwaukee Ave. across from the terminal (as done last year) and
will pull into their respective bus bays.
*	The contractor is securing permits to strip (remove) parking from
the bus unlading and boarding areas on Milwaukee Ave.

 

North Terminal routes "temporarily eliminated:

*	A - #92 Foster
*	B - Pace Pulse/#270
*	C - Pace #225/226
*	D - #85 Central (SB)
*	E - #85 Central (NB)
*	F - #85 North Central 
*	G - (empty)

 

South Terminal New assignments:

*	H - #92 Foster
*	J - Pace Pulse/#270
*	K - Pace #225/226
*	L - #81 Lawrence
*	M - #91 Austin
*	N - #56 Milwaukee
*	P - #85 Central (NB & SB)

 

Buses boarding NWB on Milwaukee Ave:

*	#68 Northwest Highway
*	#81W West Lawrence
*	#85A North Central
*	#88 Higgins
