Good morning all,

Our state convention is on October 30, 31 and November 1. The affiliate and
our student division will have elections on the morning of November 1.
According to the constitutions, only dues paying members, who are present
can vote in affiliate and chapter/division elections. So please register for
the convention and pay your dues by October 16 by going to nfbofillinois.org
and clicking on convention. The first 150 people to register will receive a
complementary nieprn can coozie.

Further, since we are having a virtual convention, you will need to register
the number you plan to vote from by October 9. Please register the number
you will be voting from at http://www.nfbvote.org by October 9. You will be
asked to put in your first name, last name, phone number from which you are
voting and the affiliate convention. This system is familiar to all of us as
we used it during our national convention.

Remember, your vote will only be counted if you vote from the number you
entered at http://www.nfbvote.org.

On November 1, you can vote by calling and putting in your choice or you can
text your choice to the number. Once everyone who wants to vote has entered
their information by October 9, I will provide you with the number to call
for voting purposes. You will have plenty of opportunity to write it down or
put it in your phones.

Please help members you know who do not have a computer register to vote and
register for convention.

It would be very helpful if everyone could pay their dues, register to vote
and register for convention long before the deadlines. If you have not payed
dues since September 1 2019, you must send your dues to Patti Chang by
October 16th at the latest so you can be counted as a person eligible to
vote in the NFBI and IABS elections. Thank you.
