Good morning everyone,

I ran into a bug during setup that it wouldn’t let me setup my profile. Not sure if it was having issues with punctuation of my company name. I skipped it, then went back in after the app started. Profile built fine.

P.S. Text the word BLIND to 85944 to donate $10 to the NFB Imagination Fund via your phone bill.

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can have the life you want; blindness is not what holds you back.

Hello Everyone:

This is a friendly reminder from the NFB Of Illinois Diversity and Inclusion
Committee. Please join us tonight for our programming to celebrate pride

month in June.

AT 7 PM, we will be streaming the PBS documentary Growing Up  Trans, and
leading a discussion on the topic of LGBTQ identities afterward. A synopsis
of the documentary is pasted below.

Synopsis.

Inside the struggles and choices facing transgender kids and their families,
in an era where they have more medical options than ever before.

Just a generation ago, it was adults, not kids, who changed genders. But

today, many children are transitioning, too - at younger and younger ages.
Told from the perspective of parents, doctors and, most revealing of all,
the kids themselves, FRONTLINE's "Growing Up Trans" takes a look at how a
new generation is navigating the changing and complicated world of gender
and identity. We hope to see all of you there.

For scheduling purposes, please be aware that the documentary is an hour and
23 minutes long.

Hi all,

Has anyone used this mobile app? I was able to set up my schedule but I have
found some serious accessibility issues using the app with VoiceOver. I have
found a workaround for the worst problems.  Among other things content isn't
refreshing correctly if I navigate from day to day either in the list of all
sessions or in my schedule. I recommend using the website instead.

Thanks,

Dan

I have extensively used this app. Note that if you use the web instead, you
will need to verify your identity with each login rather than just once.

Feel free to call me if you want a little coaching. Also note that a
training for the app will be offered soon.
Please note that the first time you select a different date, it deselects
the date you had selected previously. The second time you choose the new

date it will refresh the information.
This item has already been reported.
I find the app very easy with voiceover.
