Dates: Tuesday, March 23 to Friday, April 2, 2021

Location: W. Bryn Mawr Ave. underneath the CTA tracks

Work Hours: 7am to 5pm, weekdays

Work Activity: Temporary Station Construction

Local Impact:

  *   The sidewalk on the south side of W. Bryn Mawr Ave. within the work zone will be closed continuously (24/7) until the work activity is completed
  *   The sidewalk on the north side of W. Bryn Mawr Ave. will remain open
  *   Access to the CTA-Bryn Mawr station from the west will be maintained at all times
  *   There will be noise while work is being performed, noise will include:
     *   General construction noise
     *   Beeping from backup alarms on vehicles

We are continuing construction on the Red and Purple Modernization (RPM) Phase One project to rebuild our 100-year-old rail infrastructure and improve transit service. Work will be performed that will affect your community and create inconveniences. We are committed to doing our best to minimize the impact of our work and will continue to keep you updated throughout the project.
