[IL-Talk] FW: Next NFBI Advocacy Committee Meeting

Hello everyone,

This is a friendly reminder that our affiliate advocacy committee will meet
tonight via Zoom at 5:00 PM. The Zoom details are in the original
announcement below.

We have an action-packed agenda. We will discuss the need for training on
social media, newspaper,  and other mass marketing protest campaigns to make
our voices heard whenever we need to resort to such tactics when direct
outreach to relevant decisionmakers fails. We will also revisit the idea of
a resource list for blindness issues with an emphasis on addressing the
limited availability of adequate resources outside Chicago and, time
permitting, will address other items brought to the committee.
