One time, I was going to target, and I had Michael with me in the stroller. He was a little bitty back then. I was walking along minding my own business, and this older gentleman comes up to me, grabs my arm and says where are you going? I said I'm going into target. Well, this guy insisted on following me in the target and up to the service counter. And then he announces loudly, she is blind, and she has a baby with her. The lady at the service desk said very calmly, it's OK sir, we know her. She comes in here all the time. Another time, Michael and I went on Dial A Ride because we wanted to meet Andy at the mall. So I get on Dial A Ride and get settled. And this driver says to me very loudly, I don't understand why somebody with a disability would want to go to the mall by herself with the baby.
