Hello everyone,

In just a few short days we will join together again in-person to
share resources and network as we endeavor to live the lives that we
want. Below are a few state convention notes:

1. We will stream the convention via Zoom. Access the 2022 National
Federation of the Blind of Illinois state convention at
Join Zoom Meeting
https://zoom.us/j/3123438396?pwd=ZFVJeW8zZDNrV0p0RmpWME83Zm85UT09

2. You can begin sending your Covid test results at 4:00pm today and
through 8:00am on Saturday, October 29. If you registered to attend
the convention, you should have received an e-mail containing the
e-mail address to send the test results to.
3. The state convention agenda and hotel menus are available at
www.nfbofillinois.org, on NFB Newsline and we will have a small
quantity of these items in Braille.
4. Mary Lou Grunwald and Teresa Fabre, your door prize committee
chairs are still accepting door prizes. If you are bringing items or
have sent a donation via Zelle, please notify Teresa,
tere.fabre91 at gmail.com and/or Mary Lou, marylougrunwald at gmail.com. It
is not too late to send your door prize donation via Zelle, send it to
treasurer at nfbofillinois.org and put 2022 state convention Door prize
in the memo line.
Democracy Live and the Schaumburg Lions Club are our gold level
sponsors at this year's convention. We thank them for their generous
donations to our mission.
5. We will have a number of exhibitors in the exhibit hall. Stop by to
visit representatives from Accessible, Affordable, Accelerated Design
LLC, ACE IT Technology Services LLC, Chicago Lighthouse, Guide Dogs
for the Blind, Innovative Vision Products and Pathfinder Press
